The First Week

For the first week we were home, my mom stayed with us to help with the kids. We loved having her here. She was a lifesaver. My mama's boy James really bonded with Grandma. Kaylee did lots of activities with Grandma. And Logan cuddle with Grandma. Our kids got spoiled. The kids have actually adjusted well so far. Kaylee wants to hold and feed the baby. The belly button thing puzzled her until it fell off. She has been a wonderful helper for me. She will get stuff for me, and entertain James so well. We have only had a couple of fits. James knows about all of the baby items, like the swing, bassinett (which he likes to climb in) and my pump (which he can't seem to understand why he can't use it). He just calls him baby which is really sweet, and he is really soft with Logan. They have been great older siblings. James had a hard time when Grandma left, but he knows he can snuggle with mommy, and that's almost as good. Thank you mom for all of your help. I think we really wore you out. Thanks dad for letting us borrow mom for that long. You guys are the best!
